as I think more. Maybe not.

I was thinking #1 would play number 2 in the semi’ due to Miami getting the 4th seed but I guess Oregon and Ohio st won’t have the first 2 spots in the rankings after the CCG

I think it's that Oregon and Ohio State already played, will likely play again in the B10 title game and then have the potential to play again in the CFB playoff.

Not a huge fan of rematches for the national title. Could you imagine this happening, now and in the future, where teams meet three times, and we have the same team victorious all three times?

I guess they could be. At times the committee has been greatly influenced by CCG results in the past. Didn't Ohio State's performance in the CCG in 2014 convince the CFP to jump them above Baylor and TCU?

It’d be pretty cool if tOSU beat Oregon in the CCG, and then they met in the CFP championship.

Particularly if tOSU ass blasts Oregon out of a championship like in 2014.

If all three are competitive games, I do not really see how this is a bad thing?

Ohio State beating Michigan three times in a season would be the best year of all time

And image if two teams go 1-1 in their first two matchups how hyped the third game would be

I would much rather they meet three times than two when a championship is involved.

Now, this would change my mind.

So you'd rather some other team get a chance that those two teams would have had to beat in order for said rematch to happen?

Assume tOSU wins out but loses to Oregon close again in Indy. They osu wins in the CFP

This. In that case they would have earned wins over other conference teams instead of just B1G teams.
For two fairly evenly talented teams, the loser in the first always has a built in advantage in the rematch, IMHO. They know what won't work and why and what adjustments to make to both play calling and the plays themselves. Game three shows the best team, if game 1 doesn't.

Ohio State would have had to beat 3 other playoff teams in order for that 3rd rematch to happen.

Oregon would have had to beat 2.

So, again, you'd rather some other teams play that lost in the playoff to avoid the rematch?

JCF ... tOSU has to beat IU first, and everyone here assures me they are legit. Then you have your CCG. Then you have about 4 SEC teams you need to get through. Talk about getting out over your skis. SMH.

You tards wanted a 12 team playoff that's what ya got. Quit your bitching
I wanted 0% of these, feel free to go look at my past comments. I'm against this entirely. I wanted the BCS.

Ill Allow It Spanish GIF

It would mean tOSU won four playoff games in a row. Definitely earned it IMO.
