Morning all

quiet weekend here, was nice. Christmas eve spent day with the Mrs Pnk and just relaxed and did our small gift exchange with each other. We each got the other the same puzzle

christmas day went to my sisters, was a nice day.

only 3 day work week this week as well. I could get used to 3 day weeks
 
Nice dinner with family and folks on Christmas eve. Opened gifts with the kiddos on Christmas morning, put together a gaming chair and gaming desk for my youngest as well as a gaming monitor for my middle son. Went to parents house on Christmas day, enjoyed seeing some family I haven't seen in a while. Yesterday was a pretty relaxing day, got a good run in early and watched football the rest of the day. Back to work today for 3 days and off the rest of the week.
 
@RoyMunson seeing what you mean about rough parts of Nashville. The Kroger on Munroe has a security guard and the Keiger in Bordeaux needs one.

LOL.

spent the holiday in NJ with family. My pregnant sister made sure we all wore masks when they were over Christmas day in case my mom or I caught the VID while gallivanting around on Christmas Eve or anything else.

so the original plan was they were coming to my house Christmas Eve then going to my sister's sister in laws for Christmas day.

Well the sister in law's 3 yr old ended up being COVID positive, as did their great aunt...so it would have been a stressed out nightmare had they made the trip down.

but as is, everyone is safe, healthy and happy, which is what is important.

maybe 2022 things will be more normal, but who knows. We will also have a 6 month old to think about next Christmas
 
Off today, so taking advantage of that. My BIL officially announced they are going to tie us in number of kids. Glad as the miscarriage a couple month ago was tough on them. Supposedly my cousin S2 (who owes me $) officially got a ring for his fiancee/baby mama. Feel bad for my SIL's husband, as I'm sure she's putting the baby pressure on him big time.
 
not sure I got anything really crazy for Christmas this year...just the odds and ends one normally gets.

NYC Girl got me a nice Calvin Klein wool coal and some Chelsea boots that are too big.

Mom got me a pair of Muck boots that are too big and not something I need. She got me some fly fishing odds and ends too, like a wading pole and that sort of stuff.

sister and BIL got me a dozen Pro V's and an instant read thermometer that I left with my mom for her to use since I have one already. I should exchange it for the Dot the Pnk has.
 
Went to bonfire at neighbors Christmas night. Met yankees from ny ohio michigan. No canadians. We all agreed we hate all french canadians. Peace on earth.

my dad got me a shirt too small. It was nice he thought I could fit into the smaller size

well, It does technically fit, but i'll be exchanging for size up

anyways, I had a couple things that needed to be returned.

my mom was all about the Instagram ads this year.
 
Someone gave us 8 coffee cups and 16 wine glasses. Don't drink coffee and the broad drinks a glass of wine maybe once a week. So that was nice.

I am guessing 4 stemless, 4 white wine glasses, 4 red wine glasses...not sure what the other 4 would be...maybe for port?

They have different type glasses depending on the type of wine?

Bet two NFL games this weekend and won them both. Had a real relaxing Christmas. Kiddos had a great Christmas too. Overall a real nice weekend.

sure are...I got drinking glasses for Christmas and I was looking in my cabinet...I have a ton of wine glasses that don't get used
