The one Candy/Cake you have to have at Christmas

My mom’s Christmas cookies with sprinkles. She got the recipe from my best friend’s mother at his two year old birthday party when they served them. We’ve had them every year at Christmas since. My friend lost his mom 5 years ago and my mom has his girls and my girls at her house to cook a massive batch every year.

I tear up with every bite.

Not sure I’ve seen those ribbon candies since my GreatGrandma died.

Always assumed it was the thought of those teethbreakers at Christmas that got her thru tDepression raising two kids on her own.

I made a batch last year not great...so going to try again this year

My granddaughter was born on the 22nd of last December,we just had her 1st bday party last Sunday.......

Does this count as an Xmas cake.....?
