Two episodes in. I gotta say; the plot is WAY over the top.

I’ve finished and it’s great. They keep the action about as grounded and free from BS as you could and make a good movie.

Highly recommend.

Watching ep8.
SecDef is getting dressed down by the reporter about contradictory stories, but the reporter’s accusations don’t add up at all.
God damn writing is ducking shit these days. This is the whole climax to the story, and it makes no sense. Wtf!

I’m not sure what you are watching but the show makes sense and the writing is great.

Yeah I think he's watching a different show than we are.

Nah, explain this:

Journalist busts SECDEF for maybe knowing a bit more than SECDEF knew at a certain timeline, and all of a sudden SECDEF supposedly knows about the entire ugly plot to sacrifice the men??? No. That doesn’t make solid sense, it doesn’t necessarily follow, and that’s the entire climax to the plot

You might need to watch some better TV for comparison

The show was ok. Chris Pratt acted like the director told him "now do that again with a serious face" before every scene.

I like this show.

It was a good story and there was a period of time when you weren’t sure what was real and what was delusional. By the time you got that straightened out they introduced other elements that kept you guessing.

I’d put this up with Reacher and Jack Ryan.

I thought it was condsiderably worse than those two.

You are right there was a period of time about what was real and not.........that lasted not even two episodes.

Then it was a standard conspiracy all the way down to making the best friend in on it at the very end. Brutal.

Also, Pratt was the worst of the 3 in the main roles.

wrong

Objectively right
Wild Turkey and me
vs you and the guy who wants to change every aspect of every professional sport and comes up with a goofier idea each time.

I like my side.

Can’t argue about Pratt but watch Spiderhead on Netflix and Pratt > Hemsworth (which isn’t saying much). These Marvel leads are struggling outside of the Marvel Universe.

I would still argue the actual writing on TL was better than the other two and with a different lead to sell it the overall product would be better.

Your critique of this show is laughable. It was well done and Pratt is great in that role.

I’m going to give TL a ton of credit also by trying to make the action as realistic as possible and being dedicated to detail on how the seal teams operated. There were very few “that is complete BS“ moments in this series then you typically see. Also a ton of credit of how he killed the sicario because that was unique and absolutely brutal.

Ummm you got White Knight on your side.

That is an auto loss in any discussion. It could be Godfather vs Finding Nemo. If WK says Godfather, the world must re evaluate.
