they were both 18. not much behind them either (at least looking at the stats no one else average double digits on the team).

Ran practice last night. Had 6 of the 8 kids that were to be there. Guessing 1 was missing bc older sibling's game and the other bc we had light rain. First time fielding and they didn't do too bad. Did some hitting as well. They struggled a bit as I was trying to find the right speed. Why I do not want to be the coach that pitches.

Lol I was doing that for sure. I kept slowing it down and eventually found the groove. One kid was hitting it decently though without it. Grand wasn't so that ticked him off. Glad I could humble him a bit. One more practice until I'm back to 2nd fiddle.

I didn't willingly volunteer. They wanted me to be the head coach and I said absolutely not. Somehow got roped into an unofficial assistant. Head coach is out this week so I get to be in charge. Hopefully it's my last time as I don't love baseball as much as other sports.
