Honestly until Hooker won the job it was a pretty tight race to win the job with no one impressing and separating themselves. Hooker kinda of got lucky and beat expectations. I’ve no idea if this kid was in the mix but you try Google IT QB competition and pull up some stuff from spring to give you insight.

Well, it sounds like they had no use for him even at UNLV, and he was never healthy. Maybe just decided that if UNLV doesnt want him, it HAS to be time.Not sure as they make it sound like he retired.
