Of course, everyone should have a valid ID for voting. this is a no-brainer in my opinion.Would like to hear your thoughts on whether or not Voters should have ID to vote or not. Figure this is the right board for such a topic given this is a hot topic within the MLB right now.
Sounds like there are going to be two numbers on the Georgia ID, one is the Georgia driver license or ID number and the other is the Georgia voting number. The concern is the two numbers may confuse people.Of course, everyone should have a valid ID for voting. this is a no-brainer in my opinion.

Then how does one know that is actually the voter voting? You dont need ID to mail in a vote
The thing about the Georgia voter law is that it also mentions opening up more polling places, to reduce lines.IMO it's pretty simple. Take the required documents into whatever place it is to get an ID, have the cost of a state ID be free, make voting a 3-4 day event and you must vote in person within those 3-4 days and present your free ID to show you are a real person.
Have plenty of voting stations for people to be able to go to and vote. Reduces lines, you have 3-4 days to make time to go vote. Seems simple enough?
CNN and Twitter did not inform me of thisThe thing about the Georgia voter law is that it also mentions opening up more polling places, to reduce lines.
For some reason, people seem to neglect to mention that.
Seems states give a lot more things out for free. If the Democrats take this issue so seriously and feel the Republicans are so terrible for making ID required for voting, you'd think in a now Democratic controlled state that Georgia would easily just decide to hand out free state ID cards, yeah?States issue. As long as the ID is free of charge, I'm fine with it.
Because the bigger issue is to push the narrative that “certain demographics” can’t climb the vast financial and logistical barriers of taking a $15, 15 minute trip to the dmv.CNN and Twitter did not inform me of this
A few things wrong with this post. First, there is no such thing as a 15 minute trip to the DMV. Second, i dont care who you are, no one wants to go or really has the time to go to the DMV.Because the bigger issue is to push the narrative that “certain demographics” can’t climb the vast financial and logistical barriers of taking a $15, 15 minute trip to the dmv.
I was able to renew my license and upgrade to a real ID within less than 15 minutes actually. COVID made it an absolute breeze.A few things wrong with this post. Actually now making appointments via online has made the DMV very quick. This is definitely something that should stick around from COVID. I made an appointment that was about 2 weeks out, got there and was in and out within 10 minutes. It was amazing.I was able to renew my license and upgrade to a real ID within less than 15 minutes actually. COVID made it an absolute breeze.
Because its the ballot that is sent to the voter? Then how does one know that is actually the voter voting?
I don’t know one person who doesn’t have an ID ... even though the Democrats tell me that I am not smart enough to obtain one.Would like to hear your thoughts on whether or not Voters should have ID to vote or not.
