Total Bases

Yeah....I would bet the walk home was maybe once. And the batter behind him was probably a much lower threat than he was with the bases juiced (pun).

But, the point holds and I was remiss on it....the only defense against fat head Bonds was to walk him. And he was a lot late in his career.
You don't get better after 40?? I have a rough future then.

The intentional walk was when Arizona was up by two in the 9th. Showalter looked distraught doing it but it was the obvious move in hindsight. Next guy lined out to end the game.

It’s stupid that walks aren’t counted as total bases.

Bonds has more actual total bases. And I’m as confident he never loses his all time intentional walk record as I am any of them stand.

688.

Ichiro didn’t have that many total walks.
