Then to Myrtle Beach.

Then to Atlantic City.
 
Tempted to say fuck it and get a cab from Newark to AC.

AC is a small airport, so not many places fly there directly...you might have been better off flying to Philly and taking the bus or something...a cab from Newark will be a little $$$.

Flight to Miami is at 1 out of Reagan. No carry ons for these Jet Blue tickets. Bullshit. I hate checking my bag...but NYC girl is checking one so what difference does it make?

Probably the best way would have been to fly to Philly and take the train from Philly to AC. AC is a little regional airport, think only like one or two airlines fly out of there.

A cab would cost you an arm and a leg. Not really sure if there's even a bus line you can use from Newark. Getting there by train would be a pain in the ass, you'd have to go down to Trenton, take a train from Trenton to Philly, and then another train out to AC.

Probably not advisable, since you might not have your luggage yet.

I remember booking flights for New Orleans when my brother got married. Some of the itineraries that came up were goofy as shit. One of the flight back was like Nola -> Pittsburgh -> Detroit -> Newark. Like, what algorithm even puts that together and says, "Yup, this works!"?

Right on. The kids got the day off today. Great that it’s a day off for Veterans Day, weird that it’s a Thursday off.

I could beat everyone up and enjoy the quiet, coffee and great weather.
 
The Great Weather Change is upon us. Light rain so far with 25-30 mph winds. Temps dropping 20 degrees in the daytime highs.

Kids have a half day today (and tomorrow) just like yesterday. 54 here now. Beautiful day.

Trying to decide if I want to get another opinion on the furnace. The guys who installed it and have been servicing it said something about problems with the secondary heat exchanger, and wanted like $4,000 to fix/repair it. Had another company out yesterday, this guy said he doesn't see anything concerning in the tests.
