Well, I did miss getting a hit as one of the options. I thought he wanted to know the ways to reach base without a hit. So there is 8 ways to get to first I guess

Actually, defensive interference (catcher) and defensive obstruction are two different things.
so, technically, there are 8, I guess

Actually actually, a force out at another bag thrown from an outfielder is technically not a Fielder’s Choice. So nine.

Runner’s interference and Umpire’s interference award the batter a ‘hit,’ I believe, so that’s covered under ‘hit’ already. No need for a tenth or eleventh category.
