Tuck Stayin

1 good pot o gumbo and he gone.

MSU making him a top ten paid coach
Is it official or just talked about.... be skeptical, they might offer that, but he might want a place with better exposure, can match that, have access to better recruits, etc...

Plus there is this ole goodie as a reminder...

Well.. looks like Ryan Day will be getting a raise this offseason

MSU making him a top ten paid coach
Orrrr, he's just looking for LSU to up it lol

Will be interesting to see if it's really that high and how well it pays out for MSU. Yes he beats Michigan. But he really got lucky with hitting on a generational transfer. Outside of Walker, MSU is kinda still not so good. 130/130 in pass defense and 113th in total defense. Outside the top 50 in passing offense. This kind of deal sounds a little like the lifetime contract thread I created when Harbaugh did OK in his first couple seasons. Credit to MSU for being good this year but there's a lot of red flags and it's still early to be talking that kind of money. I think both Michigan and Nebraska learned what could happen there.

if you look who's he beat.. it's not that impressive (as of yet), but if you are a MSU and you hear all this going down while being just a one loss team so far this season.. I see why they showed him even more money.

Also, Mel would take the LSU gig in a heartbeat if they offer it to him. The last three HCs there, won a TITLE.

I think he's got great potential.

I'd just like to see him be a HC somewhere for more than a year or 2.

I said this is crazy. 3 seasons as a HC and 1 winning record. He has a nice Michigan win and after that only WKU and Miami have winning records at 5-4.. No ideas if it works out, but seems awfully early to make him one of the highest paid coaches. Though I am not sure I blame MSU, the market for coaches has gotten insane

Unwilling to over pay a head coach for having one decent season is what had us lose Saban

MSU is in an awkward spot. Either pay way more than they probably want to really early on and risk losing out on a ton of money - or - risk losing a head coach to another more desperate school

Well that’s it then.

Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams to LSU.

Done deal.

He bounces MSU and he suddenly becomes Todd Graham. Where is Graham these days?
