I'm guessing you set the precedence for your own kids. You can tell your kid to leave the damn thing wherever you want. Why did you tell them to put it under their pillow?

mowed the front lawn last night and resolved an issue with the lights on my garage and front porch...one of last week's lightning storms must have tripped the breaker and the GFCI on the front porch. I reset the breaker but I must have missed the GFCI. All is working again.

made a quick and easy pasta dish last night but it called for canned San Marzano cherry tomatoes. I have never seen those in the store before...just used whole plum San Marzanos instead...

been watching Sweet Tooth on Netflix. Not a bad show.

Get to listen to jackhammering all day today.. Lucky me.... Fortunately the windows do a decent job of deflecting the sound but it is still pretty loud

I like to be done watching tv by 10 or earlier, but I started the episode later than I wanted to last night.

I will read in bed until I start to get tired after that.

It's not so much watching late. She's just not much of a TV person in general.

12 weeks to "process" than potentially another 6 weeks to mail. Good thing I am not really going anywhere anytime soon
 
Deaf-blind Paralympian quits Team USA when told she can't bring assistant to Tokyo


After the 26-year-old deaf-blind swimmer was told she couldn't bring her mother and personal care assistant (PCA) Maria Meyers to help her navigate Tokyo and the Olympic facilities, Meyers informed Team USA that she was quitting the team.

She told the Washington Post in a story published Monday that she made the decision in part to effect change.

“I would love to go to Tokyo,” Meyers told the Post. “Swimming has given me my identity as a person. I’ve always been Becca the Swimmer Girl. I haven’t taken this lightly. This has been very difficult for me. [But] I need to say something to effect change, because this can’t go on any longer.”
