Some woman in Virginia, nicknamed 'Tunnel Girl' has been digging a tunnel for over a year, and I guess some kind of survival bunker, 22 feet under her house.
I'm all for letting people building something without a permit, like a fence or deck, but Jesus.

If I were a neighbor, I'd be scared shitless, this house collapses and takes mine with it or some shit.

The guy who built our sub lives across from me. He decided to put in a big fountain in front of his house and didn’t call Miss Dig to come out and do a survey first. So he ends up hitting some major power line and it killed power to our whole sub and over a mile in radius or something. It was a huge deal and they fined him 10k. He laughs about it now when he sits on his porch drinking and enjoying the view, calling it the world’s most expensive bird bath.

never heard of the tunnels there. but if you drive a little further south to Houston we have great tunnels i tell ya the best
