GAME UGA @ Auburn - CBS - Now

Brock Bowers is just unreal. He took that game over
Give Beck some credit ... he had a hell of a game after that first INT. His 3rd down stats were unreal. That said, Bowers is a total beast. He did drop 2 TDs, 1 he should have had, the other was good D. We are going to miss him next year. We've recruited well at TE, but no one is likely to compare to him for a long while.

The barn finds a way to play up to really good teams, and then stink it up vs. Mother Mary's School for the Poor.

I’m on the fire Bobo wagon. Dude is making James Coley look like a great hire

Bowers bailed him out on at least 3 off target throws in crucial moments. Bowers is one of the best college TEs we have ever seen

I totally agree with that, but Beck was on fire in the second half - 16/20 for 236 yards in the second half. We had drives of 98 (TD), 71 (FG), and 75 (TD) to come from behind and win in JH Stadium. That's not a place you want to play from behind, I don't care how bad Auburn is. He ended his day with 23/33 (69%), 313 yards, 9.5 yards per attempt, 1 TD, 1 INT.

I am very satisfied with how he is playing. If he keeps improving as he has, and they are starting to trust him more and open the play book, he's going to be really good be the end of the year.

He is about the same as Jake Fromm IMO. It’s good enough for UGA

I agree that he is good enough. I don't agree he's Fromm. He's more talented. We'll see if he has the "it" that Fromm had in 2017, but lost by 2019.

The main difference is that this is his 4th year in the system. Fromm was thrown in as a true freshman. I think that hurt him at the end of the day. Fromm never went over the middle like Beck is already doing.

A lot of people don't know this but Beck took his team to the 7A state championship in Florida his junior year. He regressed in his senior year because his entire OL was gone. But winning a Florida 7A championship is about as good as it gets in high school football.

The main thing he needs now is reps. Beck and Milroe are prime examples of why the 12 team CFP will be fun. Beck needs reps. Milroe needs an OC who can figure out how to use him. Both may have losses by the end of the year, but both would likely get in a 12 team CFP and be a tough out.
