UGA - OC Monken to the NFL ...

Hate to lose him. He is really, really good.

Word on all UGA boards is Mike Bobo will be the next OC. He's already been there for a year, HC coach at CSU, OC at UGA for about 7 years under Richt. Personal friends with Smart and Champ.
 
Losing Monken was bound to happen. When you get assistants from the NFL, they tend to want to get back in the NFL.

But Mike Bobo would be a trash hire. Give it to Dell McGee before we lose him
 
Or even Bryan McClendon if you want a former UGA player in the spot. Him coaching that 2015 team to a bowl win after Richt had been fired and most of the other coaches left sold me. He’s been around the block long enough to move up from position coach, and he’s already the passing game coordinator. The years of Mike Bobo at OC were some of the most frustrating years as a fan

No one is listen to the likes of you and your ilk who literally wanted Smart fired.

Bobo will be a fine hire. His offenses at UGA under Richt set records. He will now have way better players.
 
Kirby doesn’t have a good history of making in house OC hires. Chaney was decent, came from elsewhere. Coley was God awful, was the TE coach. Monken was great, came from the NFL.

Bobo is a known commodity and he ain’t too good

Like I’ve told you a million is was me and like minded individuals that got Kirby to get his head out of his ass. All he had to do was but the fuck up and stop turtling and he took our advice.

Bobo cost us the game against Clemson in 13 and SCar in 14. I mean, the dude had Aaron Murray and AJ Green and the offense sucked in 2010. I doubt he’s gonna have a better college QB than Aaron Murray.

Never forget, and never forgive. That’s in the Bible somewhere I think.

He also sucked as OC for SCar and Auburn and he burned Colorado State to the ground as HC. I’m fine keeping him on staff in a token position, but he has no business being the OC again

I’m the most well versed UGA fan on this topic on this site. Anyone else talking about it won’t be taken seriously
