GAME Under Armour All American Game - Today - 5:00est - ESPN

Potential Huskers playing today.

I tought IMG Academy was in Florida…not in Staten Island, NY. Shows you how much I know.

It is. It's in Bradenton, Florida

It's a college preparatory boarding school that charges tuition.
They don't charge bluechip players.. they would raid TX for top players, piss off HSFB coaches. They didn't charge them, they charge the kids who really have no shot getting a G5 offer much less a P5 offer.. but helicopter parents think otherwise and throw money to have their sons play with some of the best talent, hoping to catch a recruiter's eye.

They also have dedicated teachers that make sure they qualify academically

You only need a 2.0 GPA to attend IMG.

You can be sure someone's paying their tuition. Omaha has a high school called 'Creighton Prep'. It's a preparatory school that charges tuition. They literally recruit Omaha and surrounding areas for the best local athletes.

I have a good friend who's kid played baseball for them. He didn't pay a penny for his boy's tuition there. A neighbor (who is Creighton alumni) paid for it.

yeah what i meant was that they take kids who can ball of course and make sure that they can get into any P5 school that offers them.. maybe outside Stanford lol..

That’s what I thought because we’ve had several kids from Texas go there. But that blurb says “Cameron Lenhardt is a EDGE from IMG Academy in Staten Island, NY.” Made me think they might have more than one now.

Why aren’t they opting out?
Yeah I was curious about this. The HS all American games used to be good showcases before NSD. But almost everyone signs on the “early” date now. I wonder how many teams tell their committed players to go light or even start to opt out of them.

The tuition from the rich kids that go there helps cover the scholarships of the blue chippers.

Must be his home state?

He's been listed on IMG's football rosters since he was a sophomore.

they get free gear, on TV, and tbh they have a pretty good track record of keeping everyone healthy. Most players want a bump in rankings too which is a real thing in these camps.. (AA game in San Antonio is a notorious place where Rivals jumps players off the practices, same with 247 at the UA game)

I thought you were talking about Bellevue West football on the recruiting stuff, they should be called Metro amalgamated high school.
