Believe it or not, Iowa State needs BC to lose one more game so that Iowa State can fight for one of the coveted 5-7 Bowl spots due to APR! Yes, I went there. BC is one of the few potential teams ahead of ISU in APR. We fans have no pride left. If ISU can somehow manage to beat Texas Tech next week on Senior Day in Ames, the Cyclones might be able to take the best defense and the best wide receiver in the Big Xii to a Bowl Game. Of course, I'm sure the ones good enough for the NFL (there are a couple) will opt out of the "5-7 Teams shouldn't be in a Bowl" Bowl Game. / sarcasm. I applaud ISU for having a high APR, but they definitely do not deserve to Bowl if they cannot win their final two games (TT and @ TCU). FWIW, I bet ISU gets housed next week by the Red Raiders, even though it will be in the 20s and very cold next week.

ISU was favored by 3 over Baylor before losing 31-24 to the Bears and was a pick'em with K-State before losing 10-9 to the Wildcats both @ Ames. Just been a suck ass year to be a Cyclone Fan!
 
pretty wild that Wake lost to both Louisville and State. That manlet Hartman must have had money riding on those games
