I steer clear of Denny's now. Used to be a fave of the drunk high school crowd growing up, so we went there often. But had a good friend get murdered leaving a Denny's and it was over absolutely nothing. Him and another guy bumped into each other as one was walking in, the other was walking out. No one thought anything of it, but the guy he bumped into, got in his car and followed his group, then fired into his truck, hitting my friend in the head, killing him instantly. What is crazy -- it was 3 of my teammates all in the front seat of the truck. The guy killed was in the middle, it skimmed the driver's head leaving a burn mark on his skin and then hit the middle guy.

After that happened -- I gave up going on the drunk trips to places like Denny's and White Castle. Too many shady people in the Metro Detroit area.
