You all got me so bothered about this I actually went out to the motorhome and turned on the big tv. No MLB. Instructions say I can't add any apps myself. so that's why I used vizio cast using my phone to tv to watch mlb on last year.
My other tv's out there are fire tv's and I assume they can do anything a firestick can do.

Fire stick is the best.

If you have a Sony with built in Google then I would go with Google but I wouldn’t go with anything other than the fire stick anywhere else.

i Bought my mom a fire stick last summer and made her cut cable. Hooked her up with Hulu Live, Netflix, and HboMax. Also rotate every three months with Disney, Amazon Prime and Paramount. There’s nothing she can’t watch.

I've used both the fire stick at my house and the Roku at my church. Both work fine. I stream pretty much everything too. Netflix, Disney, hbo, peacock, and Hulu on the home one
