Halfway into watching on 4k this movie for first time in well over a decade. Things that bug me sobfar:
1. When the "storm" first getting noticed by people all his neighbors are out in front of their houses even though it's behind their houses. No one has the idea to watch from the backyard until Tom Cruises character comes up with the idea and tells his neighbors.
2. Tom Cruise goes to see where the lightning struck. He sends his son back to the house where his daughter is. When he gets back to the house after the giant alien comes out of the ground and blows up blocks of buildings, people and cars, his kids ask what happened that he was looking so shaken. We saw earlier when Tom Cruise and the daughter were watching the lightning strikes that it was in clear view from their house. How did the kids not hear and see all that shit with the alien going down?
