warm toilet seat wednesday

one of the most uncomfortable feelings ever is sitting on a toilet seat and it being warm because someone else was just sitting on it.

makes me cringe everytime.

After last night, I really hope the stepkids tell their sperm donor to pack it. Started when wife put dates for summer vacation. Guessing fair week was one he was trying for. So he takes the week before which is non animal projects. Dodger calls him and asks the plans. She tells him she has to be around here. He gets pissy and tells her too bad that they'll be at the lake in Michigan. She also tells him they have to have the animals ready to go as well. Same pissy answer. All because he doesn't want them in it & try to set them up for failure so they'd quit. Too bad it's their favorite activity & just only hurting his kids.

Good luck with you man.. One of my buddy is in a very similar boat as you. It's not fun at all and I am on the outside looking in, Can only imagine the stress and you are going through
 
Tank has a really bad reaction to season changes. Gets super congested, and his breathing gets to be really shallow and rapid. We have a steroid and nebulizer on hand, trying to treat it with OTCs first. The biggest challenge is getting medicine that a kid his size can take. Will be easier when we can just give him DayQuil and NyQuil.

The part that pissed me off was when he basically said his wants come before his kids' events. Fucker & his wife quit their factory jobs to haul Amish. He can choose any week. Before they were in 4H he'd choose June for both his weeks. Why? So the kids couldn't be with us on the wife & I's anniversary in June. He hates the fair bc my family & I pay for the livestock & basically keep the kids busy & tell him to stay out of the road.

Most likely won't be buying starter calves now. That really pissed Bossy & Dodger off. Bossy just went through his crap last week as he lied to her & her friend's parents. Her friend's parents were pissed. Told them welcome to my world.

This too shall pass en sech. Bought new epipens this year. Sucks to spend hundreds of dollars on medication you hope to throw out each year. Good thing is the nut eating stuff has gotten much better. He eats pistachios and cashews every day no issue. Our biggest challenge now is getting him to eat walnuts and pecans. Going to try seeing if he helps me make candied walnuts if he'll eat them. We could always go back to grinding them up and putting them in applesauce too, since he has no problems eating it that way.

Lil W seems to have outgrown most of her food allergies. It was a pain for awhile having to buy more expensive food and having our food vs her food being prepared.

It's nice to not have to worry about having nuts in food, the ER trip and first year after were a bit of a change for us. At least we didn't have to cut out peanuts and peanut butter. We went from eating part of a cashew causing an ER trip to eating 10 cashews a day, so at least we don't have to like throw everything out of the pantry. We're supposed to make sure he eats cashews, pecans, walnuts, and pistachios daily. The pecans and walnuts are the ones he doesn't like eating. We started giving him pecan sandies cookies to ensure that he's at least eating some pecans daily. We have gone back to mashing/grinding walnuts and sticking them in other things like oatmeal and applesauce.

Take care of your business before you leave the house in the morning. Understand that urge is going to hit at some point and do what you got to do to handle it before you leave.
