They got Emory Jones at qb who we beat a couple years ago vs Florida in the bowl game. Cincy still been to the playoffs since we have. Speaking of $100 million, I caught a portion of PTI yesterday. People couldn't understand how SMU would forgo be willing to forgo ANY ACC money for several years as a concession to get into the conference. Well........................ it seems SMU embarked on a $200 million campaign for the transition and raised $100 million in seven days. And it did so from only thirty of their BMDs. And tongue in cheek, Kornheiser said it really only took two days. The other five days were for the checks to clear.

When they were talking about joining the Pac they said their alumni said they would fully fund the athletic department until they got the full amount. I don’t know anything about SMU besides the death penalty, so it seems weird with an alumni that rich wasn’t in the Big 12 or SEC.
