I knew you guys would struggle against Oregon State. They are a good football team this year and you guys are still rebuilding. Nothing to be ashamed. You got the big W while other teams are folding. USC fans should be excited about what Riley has brought and your school made a smart move opening the wallet to get this thing turned around.

I figured it would be tough as well. Going into last night, the last 4 times USC went to Corvallis ranked in the top 10, the Beavs beat them 3 times. Last night they almost made it 4 of 5. Oregon St. is definitely legit and their entire defensive backfield is probably going to be in the NFL. They are really good.

I hate night games in Corvallis. Weird shit always happens and it seems the better the USC team is, the more they struggle...and that's even when Oregon St. isn't a good team like they are this year.

I was really happy with how the defense played. They've been questioned all season (including by me) and they stepped up and kept the game close.

What Lincoln Riley has done is pretty amazing. Any USC team from the last 5 or 6 years loses that game last night and at least a couple would have been blown out. This one found a way to win. That's what they have to be able to do to get where they want to be.

Yeah watching Tennessee, we really should have beaten both Florida and Pittsburgh by multiple scores. We were clearly best team on the field in both games but had struggles (with Pitt it was offense, special teams, and turnovers and with Florida it was 3rd/4th down defense).

Yet we are 4-0. These grit games that look ugly are always great teaching lessons for the team if you can survive them. In some ways, they are better for team with regard to learning and maturity than a blow out win.
