Bookie:
$ 6,303.00
1 - Georgia (Sugar)
2 - Ohio State (Rose)
3 - Clemson (Peach)
4 - Iowa State (Fiesta)
5 - Oregon
6 - Texas
7 - Penn State
8 - Tennessee
9 - LSU
10 - Miami
11 - Notre Dame
12 - Boise State

Boise State @ Oregon
Notre Dame @ Texas
Miami @ Penn State
LSU @ Tennessee

Georgia over Texas shakes things up a little bit, but the rest of the projections stayed solid, as we had already projected Tennessee over Alabama. Iowa State nearly was knocked down in favor of BYU, but managed to hang on.

I like those first round matchups. Swap Miami with LSU and it would be a awesome slate to kick off the new playoff.

Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s KState as the B12 rep. They look better then ISU imo

Texas A&M is gonna be in the playoff. Their schedule is so fkn easy the rest of the way and they get Texas at home

I mean... they have LSU this upcoming week. @ South Carolina and @ Auburn, then finish with Texas.

Are you on crack?

It'll be fascinating to see how this plays out. Texas and Tennessee, if neither win the SEC, are likely looking at only having one top 25 win each. And I'm not so sure, after last night, if Texas will beat A&M. Does a 10-2 Texas make it with zero good wins? I mean their best win would be at Vandy? I don't know if I trust A&M fully, but they could be undefeated in SEC play heading into the Texas game. It would be crazy if they already had an SECCG spot clinched before that game is even played.

I also don't know what the committee will value in the new 12 team playoff. For example ND could finish with 3 ranked wins, which would probably put them near the top of at large candidates, but if you power rated them, I don't think they've played like a playoff team. Maybe we blow out Army/Navy and that changes my perspective.

I'd love for all of that to come true an Elko is a different leader than Jimbo was, but we are just leaving those eggs where they are until they hatch.

Yeah, I think Elko is pretty good overall. A&M is much better than they were that first game of the year.

Both those games are at Home
Scar nearly beat your asses IN YOUR HOUSE. We play them in theirs. We have two top 10 teams remaining on our schedule, home or away doesn't matter.

Newflash…WE AINT GOOD.

It isn’t an accomplishment to almost beat Kalen DeBoer Alabama

Makes sense then why you think that A&M's remaining schedule is "so fkn easy".

They have. But ISU is reminding me of 2022 TCU. Just winning w/o always looking very good.

We shall see. Leaders not all playing each other will make it interesting. If BYU and Colorado stumble and Clones/ Cats continue to win, we could end up with ISU and K-State playing back to back to end the regular season.

Fair

I'm just going by what my team has faced the last two weeks. While both ran our asses out. Felt like K-State is the better team.

Bro I'm not trying to pile on here but if you want to talk about fucking easy the rest of the way out, look at BYUs schedule. I thought if they stayed undefeated until the CCG they could get an at large. Probably not seeing it now without a conference title unless crazy shit happens.

I too think K-State has looked better since that clunker they had in Provo.

I just looked and all four (BYU, Colorado, ISU and K-State) all have manageable schedules remaining...at least as things have shaken out so far. Looks like the "meat of the schedule" has already played out regarding these four. That said, all of them could also lose to some of their remaining opponents.

I was dumb enough to think the Big 12 was so balanced that the winner might have three losses. Ain't looking that way at all right now.

Even if BYU finishes well, their fate could well rest in the hands of SMU. If SMU wins the ACC or even makes the ACC CCG, that might elevate BYU's resume considerably. Things like this are what I like about the new 12 team playoff. Lots of factors come into play outside of a team's conference.

Imagine how many kids would have decided to redshirt themselves if we still lived in a 4 team world where a loss means you are nearly certainly out of the playoffs. 12 teams has reduced the number of kids pulling that. By the time their team is eliminated most will have lost the chance to get a redshirt.
