Welcome to the dark side Notre Dame -- first FCS opponent

Can I spin this and say it will help with recruiting since it's an HBCU school? 2023 schedule should still be pretty solid with OSU, Clemson, USC, and schools like Wake Forest, NC State, UL and Pitt. I can see 4/5 ranked games.
 
Hell, they could have paid us to come in. We're a historically Mexican college. And El Paso has A LOT of Catholics!
 
It is ok, there are a lot of FCS schools that could beat the lower-tier FBS schools. I am not sure the division is that much different.

:fify: As further proof, I submit my guys as evidence. We've lost to Cal Poly and Northern Arizona in the last 20 years.

But you did leave out P5 blue bloods and others that have lost to FCS teams as well. Was that intentional?

TSU is awful. I know FCS teams beat P5 teams quite frequently, but they suck and we will name the score against them. If we want to win 100-0 we will.

That'll be our 2nd game of the year. We'll whip Navy's ass in Ireland in week 0, or wherever the hell that game is going to be played. First 3 games in 2023: Navy, TSU, Central Michigan. Lol. What a joke.

That's a pretty lame start to a season....but ours isn't much better next year. Colorado State, Hawaii, UConn.

Yeah I can't ever remember an easier start to a schedule. Navy, FCS, MAC opponents is pretty bad.

I'm partial to Cookie Monster taking a too-early gatorade bath then having to stand in the sticky mess for 7 OT's only to eventually lose, myself.
