West Virginia should be In the ACC

Fuck all this academic bullshittery, that isn't what conferences should be about anyway.

Let's be clear and honest. For the most part conferences are about football power and the $$$ the football power schools can bring.

Fringe benefits are about what Basketball power can bring, which seems to be where the ACC hung their hats, never ending expansion for teams that were deemed basketball power.

What had that gained us? Seriously?

Ask this - would the ACC be more stable now (GOR notwithstanding) if WVU had been in ACC for 10 years now already?
 
This is my drank vent thread and I'm pissed with all things ACC, most notably with GT still being in it instead of B1G, but current rant is about why WVU isn't let in. I care about football, not academic snobbery. Let the morons in.

At this stage we have to stay in the B12 even if an invite came tomorrow. (Which it never will)
 
Agreed but I think eventually some of their rivals will join the Big 12

I don't think there is a greater power in all of CFB than the Tobacco Road Cabal. I hate them. Fuck them forever.

Never ending adds of supposed basketball power schools when football was unquestionably the biggest deal in the land.

And WVU sitting right fucking there in ACC back yard with legit football power better than 90% of current ACC teams.

And yet....nobody is watching Rutgers and Maryland in those areas. The viewers that turn the dial are the fans of the opposing teams from other areas.
