Since the current Governor Kay Ivey is an Auburn Alum I imagine the response would be pretty intense. I think the most interesting part would be to see Tommy Tuberville immediately condemn the mandates and demand that Saban is reinstated so he didn't lose any votes. There is a part of me that wishes this would happen (even though it NEVER would) just for entertainment purposes.

It would also be funny to see how many Auburn fans flipped their position as long as it meant Saban didn't keep his job.

This just shows how boring the state of Washington is that there isn't more drama going on.

I agree we all know you guys watch college football but secretly hate it and want to destroy it.

Racism and Title IX are your go to weapons. Then you dreamed up NIL and COVID just fell in your lap. Your philosophy is death by a 1,000 cuts.

That would be Political Suicide and no governor would have the balls to do it. Heck, Bear Bryant drew more attendance than Presidential Candidates visiting Alabama.

However, I think Saban is the type that he would get the vaccine (or already has done it).

A couple of coaches that I could see as being anti-vaccers are Mike Leach and Mike Gundy.

Well he isn't working.

As stated, No Governor would touch Saban whether he got the vaccine or not because it would be political suicide. Sure, they may win the battle but come election season, their political career is over. Hell, they might even be impeached over it.
