I thought we lost the game ball my oldest boy received from his HC after scoring 3 TDs in his first ever tackle football game. I had been keeping it a small makeshift trophy case in the kitchen, but as kids do, they’d sometimes play with it against my wishes.

I noticed it was gone a couple of weeks ago and asked everyone if they knew where it went. Nobody did. I ended up coming to terms with the fact that it was gone forever and kind of settled with the memories being all that was left (and some pics and vids) but the ball was gone.

Then this past weekend I was doing some spring cleaning and found it in my bedroom closet, tucked away with a few other things that mean a lot to me. I had put it away for safe keeping and forgot about doing that.

It was at that moment it all hit me just how important this ball meant to me. Very emotional.

Need to put it in a case or something.

My wife's pussy. Have had it over a quarter century and still play with it regularly.

Triangle pillow is my no. 2.

Unless we’re counting our houses, the only things I have that I’d be really upset if they were gone are my fiddle, my 84 F-250 and my life size Dale Earnhardt Sr Coca Cola cardboard cutout

Eh...I don't care that much about anything. I mean, I got a lot of crap around the house that I can't seem to throw away, but that's more due to laziness than sentiment. I guess if I ranked things in terms of "what would get trashed last?" I would probably hold on to my stratocaster and mandolin the longest

Same.

I've got plenty of stuff I like to keep that reminds me of good times but they don't replace the memories. If the house was burning and everyone was out of it the only thing I would go back in for are my two dogs. So I guess they are my prized possessions because they mean more to me than any crap.

You'd have to go back in the house for your dogs? What breed of dogs do you have? ...they sound kinda dumb...

I already lost all my guns in a tragic boating accident, but if I hadn't....it would be them. Specifically, my family heirloom Winchester Model 54

You lost all of your guns on a boat? Are you a gun smuggler?
