Did you smoke a butt?

It's been awhile since I fired up the smoker....just found some replacement parts I needed to get it back up and running. May do a brisket tomorrow or Tuesday....
 
Had brunch at my mom's. Breakfast casserole, some ham/swiss hawaiian sliders, and I made a cheesecake... Going to grill tonight for dinner

No. I marinate a 4lb pork loin in jalapeno apple jelly, with chilli powder, cumin, fresh black pepper, and salt.
Grill high heat, brown/crisp the entire outside, drop in crock pot with 1/4 cup bbq sauce. Slow cook 4 hours, shred, throw on toasted sweet rolls, pickles, cole slaw, bbq sauce, bomb.
 
16LB ham smoked for 4 hours with apricot/horseradish glaze
3LBS polish sausage
Mixed veggies
Fresh fruit platter
Garlic dill red potatoes
relish tray
rolls and rye bread
Bailey's cheese cake
 
Yesterday, we celebrated...

-Easter
-brother #2 (Navy Lt), wife & 3 young kids return to Wisconsin after 20 months & met my youngest nephew
-brother #3's wife's birthday
-brother #4's youngest son's 2nd birthday
-90 year old grandfather's return to Wisconsin after 6 months in NC with my uncle (and first time we've seen him since we buried his wife)

...with all that going on at once, we ordered-in Qdoba this time... (first time ever ordering in on Easter)

Spiral-cut Ham.
Mashed potatoes.

Candied Yams
"Angel" eggs...(my wife doesn't like calling the Deviled Eggs)
Rolls
Angelfood cake with homemade icing topped with toatsed cocoanut.
Upside-Down Pineapple cake
cookie bars

...and maybe some bourboun, a xanax...and kind nugs.

That's actually a pretty damn smart and easy way to do it.
