When is the last time your team’s field was rushed by fans after the game

I would say that the last time that Alabama fans may have rushed the field was the 1982 liberty bowl. Bear Bryant’s last game which ended his career winning to 323 games.

That might hurt somebody’s feelings if it isn’t for the fact that Bama has won more than they’ve lost in national championship games.
This is the present. The most recent is the only one that matters. Get with the times

But we all know when Bama drops another couple games you’re just gonna become a Clemson or UGA fan and hope nobody notices, but we still remember you wearing your Tebow jersey

2020 against Clemson after 2OT. I can’t remember the last time before that.

Rushing the field isn't gay.. Just feels that way once you are older like me.. But this board has given me aids so I'm cool with rushing the field. Had we beaten Bama I probably would have gotten on the field too
Most the time the field gets rushed it is stupid. There should be guidelines.

1. Beat a top 5 team or top 10 ranked rival
2. You should be unranked
3. Home team is at least a 7 pt dog
4. Having 10 year losing streak vs that team

Alabama

Fans have never rushed the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Crimson Tide fans stick by the “act like you’ve been there before” mantra, apparently.

BOOOOORRRRRRRRIIIIIINNNNGGG..

BUT, I do understand why they don’t let Bammers on the field, the girls would get punched by all the Alabama players.

Awe, you think it bothers me to mention something that I completely hope they suspend the player indefinitely if he is found to have done this. See, unlike you, I dont live through my teams accomplishments, I want them to act like they have been there before, and if they lose, to remember that feeling for the next game. I will say this to you in the hops you get it, I have endlessly congratulated UT for their win, and have been attacked many times in the last 4 days by many Tennessee fans thinking it would bother me. I have been down this road before, but apparently you are new to winning big games. Good luck in the future, you may see this same Bama team again this year in a different setting.

“I’m so not bothered that I’m gonna write a novel explaining why I’m not bothered”

LOL

All Bama “fans” are the same

You are another one. If you think losing bothers me, refer to my posts the night of the loss and the following day to @Volbound1700. Losing is a part of life. You as a dawg fan should know this more than most since your team wins National titles once in a generation of dawg fans lives. Maybe two if you live beyond 40.

2014.

But I DID get to do it he second to last time.

Awfully defensive to not be bothered. Which is why I lean towards your weak minded ass being bothered

look at my posts and keep telling me that. Its not hard to see by comments in the game thread and a few others i was not bothered by it, even right after the game.

Buddy, we saw you wearing a Clemson hat in public yesterday. You were so bothered by it you’re about to hop on a new bandwagon. You can deny it all you want, but we all know the truth.

I don’t think MSU ever has. It’s like a 20 foot drop onto cement from the stands to the field so, you may be breaking limbs jumping from there.

First wave cushions the fall for the rest. They just don’t have enough want to

Bama is a blue blood. Blue Bloods don’t rush the field
From the article:
Skip ahead to 1990 and Alabama was the program suffering through four straight Iron Bowl losses before Gene Stallings took his first swing as head coach.

So a 16-7 Crimson Tide win lit a powder keg in the Alabama student section, and eventually, the Legion Field artificial turf. News accounts differed on numbers and video of the postgame wasn’t clear but Alabama students tried to rush the field as the game ended and Birmingham police officers were there to greet them
“I saw several of them swinging billy clubs,”
Alabama student Harold Lambert, then 24, told The Birmingham News. “One cop was swinging back and forth as hard as he could at anybody he could. They were swinging wildly. One of the officers pulled his gun out. He pulled it out and was waving it. They were out of control.”

Approximately 20 people were arrested on the field but a few got away because the 50-60 police officers on-site for crowd control ran out of handcuffs.

So while not at Bryant-Denny, or during the Saban era especially, Bama fans have tried before, but Alabama police don't want anyone to have fun.

Also watch the end of the 85 Iron Bowl after Van Tiffin's kick. A lot more than Alabama players and coaches on the field.
