Your two options are San Diego State (get back into Southern California) and then either UNLV, Nevada, or Boise State.

clearly you didn't watch the end of the first half, where shit clock management fucked the Gators.

The refs made a lot of mistakes this game, but in most cases, it helped the opponents. Probably because they were PAC refs.

The Vols should join the B1G. You'd win it at least every other year and save the world from the scourge of OSUx always sneaking into the playoffs.

BYU is already in a decent league (Big12) plus their religious rules will likely make them very unpopular with most Pac12 schools. The news from this past weekend about the racist incident at the Duke Volleyball game didn't help.

Mutual, it just isn't a good fit. Boise State would be an amazing pickup for Football but I don't see that one happening either.

We just need to keep recruiting like we are now. I think we are starting to build something special. We have a competent coach for once.

Just imagine losing USC and UCLA and replacing it with SDSU and UNLV.

Yeah, it is kind of like the Big12 with Oklahoma and Texas, there is no replacement to USC and UCLA.

That is why I actually think your best fate would be to have the B1G pickup Oregon, Washington, Stanford, and someone else while you, Arizona State, Colorado (if B1G doesn't nab them) and Utah join Big12.

Big12 at least has some solid squads like BYU, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, TCU, etc. Some of those schools actually have decent fanbases and stadiums.

I could see Arizona in great battles with Texas Tech, that just seems like a natural rival for you. Also the Arizona-Kansas Basketball games would be epic.
 
I wonder if PAC would consider Hawai'i? Travel would be difficult, but they ARE in the Pacific.

I thought about them for you guys as well but I just don't think they would pull in the $$$$. Maybe recruiting...

BTW, Oregon State is beating Boise State. Perhaps there might be a sleeper in the Pac12?

Winning @SD State is a big win. Especially after what Arizona went through last year.

P.S. I wanted to add that I know from first hand experience how loud the Swamp can be. Been there and done that. My ears are still ringing from the 1997 FSU game - when Gator fans were literally dancing in the streets after the win. What I don't like (and all of the networks do it now) is the generic simulated fade cheering (which is distinctly different than normal noise in a stadium) AND at a higher decibel. When Utah scored, the Ute section was obviously cheering, but the rest of the Swamp not so much. However, they faded in the generic "home team made a great play noise" by mistake. I'm surprised this doesn't bother more people or even noticed by other people. Of course, I have dog ears and notice stuff like like. BTW, GREAT win by the Gators last night! Just a fantastic CFB game to watch.
 
That was the one thing about going to college at UF. At least in the biz school, everybody was competitive AF. Everyone had this edge like they were going to make it big and could compete with anyone. It's just the great thing God gifted His university.

For a few years I've been saying the football team doesn't act like the school. Napier seems to get it.
