busy today, a lot of meetings. I can tell holidays are over, people back to sending me work to do

and I agreed to help out my old unit, and that work is picking up as the people I'm helping replace retire this week. Past few weeks, just had few phone calls, now they want actual work for the money they're giving me

My chess match with the old bat across the hall wages on. She walks in and begins reading verbatim from her notes about an issue that I had already addressed 10 mins before. Again, tried to be diplomatic in letting her know I was already aware and had addressed it. Her? Nope she just kept on reading.

Back in the old days I could have called her into the office at the end of the day and told her she was too old and not to come back
