Who Does Hot Dogs The Best?

Right to left:

1. Maine - Just nasty bright red dog with a mustard and relish spread
2. NY - Mustard, chili and onions which is respectable
3. Chicago - This shouldn't work but man does it
4. Arizona - Mexican bread, salsa, sour cream and mustard
5. Seattle - Bagle bun, cream cheese jalapenos and an onion and pepper mix

Honestly all of them have good points except for Maine (gross) but I'm going with Chicago just because its one of my favorites.

The best dog though is the Sneaky Pete's Birmingham, AL special dog:

Loose hot beef topping with sauerkraut, onions and mustard. Its perfection.
 
Oscar-Mayer with those cheese stuffed hotdogs

Wrap that in a slice of American cheese, put a little Blue Plate mayo and some ketchup, and you have the ultimate hotdog.

It’s still just a hotdog, and nothing to brag about, but it’s the best possible hotdog you can have
 
Went through a phase where I was making them at home five guys style.

Put some butter on a pan, split the dog down the middle then put a meat weight on the pan.

Went hard for about two weeks, then projectiled it and haven’t given it a shot since.

Why the hell were you eating that many hotdogs?

I only buy hotdogs mostly for treats for my dogs. Only time I ever really eat em is when I want something hot that doesn’t take long, and I’ll just throw a couple in the air fryer for around 10 minutes.
