And I was just rolling through these posts remembering she was a pistol way up in age. And then this tweet to prove it.

I always adored Cloris. She was ridiculously funny and had the most amazing improv skills and timing. Absolute fave was Frau Blucher.

The backstory of how Brooks was very open to improv and often put such off script improvs in because they were so good shows in the below clip. I can’t remember what scene (I think it was the brandy, warm milk, ovaltine scene) was totally improv’d by her and the rest went with it.

The nuance in the facial expressions just made this character.

That was my favorite also. None of my friends liked that movie for some reason and I thought the picture was great. I'll never forget Cybill Shepherd in the swimming pool.
