
He's got the 2020 season to showcase. Remember, should've gone to the PAC title game and who knows could have beaten USC for a PAC title. That is the angle he would take. I dont think UW is all that interested or invested in football to go through this headache of internal debate of if they should fire him or not or if they could get better or not. They'll see that last year they could've won the conference, this year was the OC problem and wait to see how he does next season before making any decision.Who knows though. I don’t see why some kind of putative action necessarily takes away the firing for cause option. Maybe they just aren’t interested in going that route, maybe they’re negotiating a lower buyout with him. Who really knows what’s going on behind the scenes right now. But I don’t see how he’s our coach next year with this, on top of the suckage.
No idea what your guys recruiting class is like, but if he is getting top 25 recruiting classes that also could lead to him returning next year.
