He's got the 2020 season to showcase. Remember, should've gone to the PAC title game and who knows could have beaten USC for a PAC title. That is the angle he would take. I dont think UW is all that interested or invested in football to go through this headache of internal debate of if they should fire him or not or if they could get better or not. They'll see that last year they could've won the conference, this year was the OC problem and wait to see how he does next season before making any decision.

No idea what your guys recruiting class is like, but if he is getting top 25 recruiting classes that also could lead to him returning next year.

Yeah, I know it's his alma mater, but UW is such a much better job, and he's worked there before, was just throwing it out as an option.

I would want to make sure he is solid on returning to the PNW and willing to actually build this program up.

Plus the Admin might need to loosen their grip on the academic standards ( bring back basket weaving classes)

If I remember, coach K wanted nothing to do with being a head coach. Just wanted to do his job and go home.

He just fired his DC earlier in the week. I think the honeymoon is over.
Plus I really would like to see a clean break from coaches that formally coached here
 
You Washington fans should check out the Kent State game...that guy is a coach and runs a fun O....maybe a couple years too early to get him a P5 job....

We do have a history of Kent State coaches working out really well here.
