He’s recruited well at quarterback. Maybe he runs into a good one. Honestly 60-70% of the fanbase wants him gone. He’s 26-25 and Vegas has 3 wins in year 5. Year 5.

Not just QBs actually -- SC's defensive line talent is outstanding, got some elite defensive backs, they've put some great receivers in the NFL, a first-round TE, productive LBs. I'm not defending Muschamp but not sure how you can judge All-SEC over/under totals. Ranked teams only at 4/5.

Good Carolina can get lots of talent, just not enough to get over the hump, and they have to share with too many other teams.

But, Clemson is in the same boat, they also have to share recruits with a lot of SEC teams and with the Gamecocks, yet they have been able to compete for, and win, Nattys.

The difference most likely comes down to preparation and coaching.

He's a DC...not a HC. CFB and little Willy need to get over it.

It's still better to be a respected DC in the big leagues than a HC for a vo-tech.

This is true, but it's also the best they can attract. Nobody who is a proven HEAD coach wants to come to Columbia, so they're left with hiring up-and-coming Coordinators.

Yeah, they need to take a chance on a Frost-type up and comer. Willy is trying to make up for the mistakes at UF, like not having a QB....he just can't. If Spurrier couldn't get it done, then who can?

Excatly. Spurrier took them places they had never been, and never will again. He had some great teams from 2010-2013 but there was always a slip up somewhere in league play.
