Will the Playoff Committee rank Cincinnati in the Top 6 in the 1st CFP Ranking?

Highest ranked G5 teams in previous 1st CFP Rankings

2020 - #7 Cincinnati (8-0) - #7 AP that week
2019 - #20 Cincinnati (7-1) - #17 AP that week
2018 - #12 UCF (7-0) - #9 AP that week
2017 - #18 UCF (7-0) - #15 AP that week
2016 - #23 Western Michigan (8-0) - #17 AP that week
2015 - #13 Memphis (8-0) - #15 AP that week
2014 - #23 ECU (6-1) - #21 AP that week
 
Unless they are complete idiots Cincinnati should be number 2.
 
Basically, they have to decide the first week, do we want Cincy in or not. It's not likely they will lose to anyone other than SMU. I assume they would play them twice ... regular season and conf championship? But the assumption is they will be undefeated with 1 decent win on their schedule ... ND. But, if they make them no. 2, no way they can drop to no. 5 unless the lose. So, it will be now or never. Assuming UGA is going to be no. 1, I am glad to have them in the field so long as we get to play them.
 
SOS is not good enough. 6th should be about it.

Committee has never been friendly to G5.

Obviously, Georgia will be #1. I see Oklahoma #2. I think they will have undefeated B1G team #3. Either another P5 undefeated or Alabama #5. It is that #6 that I see Cincy getting it.

I don't know if Cincy should be #2 at this point, but I think they are Top 4.
 
Cincy started #7 last year and dropped to #9 and rose to #8 in the final CFP Poll. They were undefeated last season as well.
 
Prob 5th or 6th, too weak of SOS
 
This will be an interesting test case. No G5 team has had a win as good as Cincy has, while also being undefeated this late into it. If ND is a 3/4 loss team at the time of the initial rankings, my guess would be Cincy would probably be at 6/7. UGA, Michigan and MSU, Bama, Oregon(assuming a UCLA win) and OU all ahead.
