still exiled in Illinois
3" of fresh packing snow no wind and temps around 30F. Called for an extended property walk. Did around a mile,2 trips on the "path". Birds feeding in the sunflower patch roosting in the bushes. Pheasant and rabbit tracks galore. One fox trail that I followed.

Hot coffee ready for me when I came in. And my wife built a snowman. Life is good.

This is the one thing I hate about living in Wisconsin. My wife was born and raised in this state and enjoys all the winter activities.

Saw a guy go by with a 14 footer. Now that's dedication to fishing.

Jealous. We keep getting teased with snow only to have it go to the north and east of us.
