Took this set of simple plans & made the base & arms out of 2x8 instead of 1x8... This is the guinea pig

I've got to do some filling, routing & some sanding. I have to wait a while before I can paint & seal. Took me about 1.5 hours once I got all the tools out. 4-5 more to go!!!

So I bought this fire-pit/grill.... The plan is to lay a perimeter of landscaping blocks, fill perimeter with fine crusher run gravel #8910 & built 4-5 more of these bastards!!!

I actually really like the idea of the wide arm rests for the fire pit area. You got room for drinks and food on the chairs.

Those are really nice. Now I’m thinking about making Adirondacks. And just at the beginning of the year I built large porch chairs. Lol
