I’m in the minority, but I don’t care how early the sun goes down, I have more fun at night, but I want the sun to rise as early as possible. I hate working in the dark and it won’t get daylight until 9 AM in the winter. If you’re gonna do away with time changes, let it fall back and then keep it there. Gives us the hour of a weekend they stole away from us back that way too
I’m with you. If we aren’t gonna change the clocks I prefer standard time. This guy is actually in favor of keeping it standard time and he does a pretty good job explaining why standard time year round is better than daylight savings time year round. The big one is our internal clocks want to sleep when it gets dark out. That’s how we have evolved as humans. If it stays daylight longer we go to bed later AND have to wake up when it’s still dark out. This leads to a lack of sleep.
You have a point, I just want to stop the changing it's pointless
It actually does a lot especially to kids. But I remember a study published also links heart attack and lack of productivity for more than just the singular day of change but a week or more of disruption and suchhe also makes the point that changing the clocks screws up our internal clocks as well. To me, I doesn’t bother me but he makes a good point about that as well.

I don't really care what time it is I just want it to stay constant. Or be unnoticeable. Nebraska passed legislation recently or advanced it anyway with regard to time change, I'm more of a leave it up to the state to decide and remove federal guidelines for time. But that's how I feel about most things the federal government sticks it's nose into, leave it to the states to decide. Daylight in Minnesota isn't the same as daylight in Floridayup… he talks about that as well. This guy is pretty good. @Orlando_Eagles turned me onto his stuff.

Nebraska has stipulations that involves neighboring states adopting similar practices. Traveling is already a nightmare most of the day is borked anywayleaving it to the states would be a nightmare for people who travel for business… especially via plane.
I’d prefer standard time, ultimately but really just prefer having to not change the time at all.I’m in the minority, but I don’t care how early the sun goes down, I have more fun at night, but I want the sun to rise as early as possible. In general, I'd agree with you about state decisions in most things, but it needs to be country wide, if nothing else, because of business dealings (for example). It's bad enough with the 4 different time zones in the U.S. but there needs to be a standard reference time point in the U.S. (not the global GMT reference point).I don't really care what time it is I just want it to stay constant. Meh if you're doing business you can spend an extra 30 seconds to look up the time it is where you're going or calling we have time zones as it is so no matter what there's an adjustmentIn general, I'd agree with you about state decisions in most things, but it needs to be country wide, if nothing else, because of business dealings (for example).
