Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Sounds like the compression on the guitars takes away some of that raw, ACDC edge. However, without the compression on the guitars, the sound won't be "modern" enough and likely won't get any airplay.
Overall, I think it's a decent enough effort, and I'm not even a fan of this band.
