I heard this is the first time Miss. State is playing for a national championship in any team sport.

If this is an all-SEC finals, better than it being Alabama and Florida I guess.

For being one of the best College World Series in a long time, the championship series was a dud and delivered very little drama.

I don’t disagree and I hate it for Miss State but there is kind of an * on this one.

It will be a small footnote and people won’t even remember (except for NC State fans) in a couple of years but it is sad this didn’t play completely out.
