An offense with Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Marquise Brown clears, imo. Multiple all-pro All pro level lineman and at least 3 pro bowl caliber OL between Thuney, Humphrey, and Smith. Added another 1st round caliber OT in Kingsley.

Chiefs roster clears the Eagles at this point.

Pure delusion. Everyone around the league last year and still this year looked at the Chiefs offense and said there really isn't anything there besides Mahomes and Kelce and a good offensive line.

Eagles have an All Pro QB, All Pro RB, All Pro WR, All Pro RT, All Pro LG and to go along with that another great young WR in DeVonta Smith, a great TE in Dallas Goedert, a great LT in Jordan Malaita and what looks to be the perfect replacement for Kelce at center in Cam Jurgens and RG will be determined in camp but they have the best offensive line coach in the league to develop whoever wins that job.

Lol. All pro QB. But ok, so now compare the defenses...

The talent is far closer on defense for the two teams than it is on offense.

Aka, the Chiefs actually blow the Eagles out of the water on defense and have better and often younger talent.

CB/NB/Rover, Chamarri Conner, 23 YO

24.6 YO (296)

Average Age total: 25.2

Only 3 of these players will be 30 total by week 1. All three of them perennially compete for all-pro designations between Thuney, Jones, and Kelce, lol. None of theme are even Mahomes, the most dominant player in football and at QB. Only position group on defense the Eagles are better at is EDGE. Eagles get completely blown out in the secondary.

It's a straight up better roster. It only got better with the draft and FA as the achilles heel at WR was addressed.

Your skill players outside of Travis (turning 35 this season) are still a major step down from the Eagles.

The gap between the QB’s is a lot greater than the gap between the WR’s if we want to really go there. Pacheco isn't really a step down from glass bones Barkley, tbh.

Chiefs have a better offense than the Eagles just through the brute force that is Mahomes and any competent receiver.

It's really not. Hurts outplayed Mhaomes in the Super Bowl. Pacheco is a major step down from Barkley. Chiefs have one of the least talented offenses in the league.

That's the same rhetoric that kept getting applied to the Patriots by opposing fan bases throughout the Belichick+Brady dynasty.

Bottom line is that "talent" doesn't win NFL playoff games. The Patriots proved that for two decades and the Chiefs picked up where they left off.

Uh huh, keep that line up as the Chiefs put up 30 PPG. It'll go well for you.

Since 2017, including postseason:

ADJ EPA/Play

Mahomes: .283
Hurts: .149

There's not a big gap though between Hurts and Mahomes though, trust me bro.

Correct. The Chiefs have been winning with mediocre-to-not-that-good rosters for a minute since about 2016 or so. People just don't notice (or simply downplay it) the defense was terrible or the WR's are shambolic because they won anyways, often on the back of Mahomes. This will be the most talented team of the Mahomes era this upcoming year, on paper.

They could win the West with Wentz at QB.

I admittedly left the Chiefs for dead last season primarily because I thought their WR corps was too terrible to overcome and their RB corps was average at best. I underestimated the defense and Reid+Mahomes combo's ability to overcome those major deficiencies.

Props. It's good to be Chiefs fan these days.

Well it was true and a big part of why Brady eventually left NE was because the Krafts were, and are, very cheap and wouldn't spend money to give Brady weapons.

Regardless your point has nothing to do with the dispute between me amd the Chiefs fan as to which team has more talent.

Doubt. Rashee Rice was one of the most efficient yards per route run WR's in the entire league, and it's an offense that added Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy. Also another OT, just for fun.

But even if it was, it'd still push ~30 PPG.

That idiot probably won't even be playing this season when his suspension hits. He isn't even a top 20 WR in the league. Marquise Brown has always been overrated and Worthy was a reach even at the end of the first round.

Bottom 1/3 skill group in the league.

Chiefs' offense scored 21 PPG last season. They are a far way from 30 PPG.

Deshaun Watson got 10+ games for rape, implicitly.

Rice is playing this season.

Last year is the outlier with offenses under Mahomes. Not the norm.

This is 2022, where the Chiefs' top WR was JuJu Smith-Schuster, lmao.
