The point is that it is not comparable. You can't be like 'I like chocolate' and then be like 'well this poop here has chocolate in it, you must like this poop'. It's illogical and just dumb to attempt to make such a statement. Hopefully I said that in an easy enough way for you to understand.

My point is that arguments are not transferrable just because they are comprised of words. Other facts matter. It isn't flawed because you can't apply it to everything, your manipulation of it is what is flawed.

The quickest way to get to the land in South Dakota we hunt is to enter Missouri in St Louis, get all the way to Kansas City, then swing north and eventually hit I-29 and ride that all the way through Iowa. Feels like you’re in Missouri for half of the 20 hour drive

when you spend 2k+ it is worth it. 5 hour drive one way

some cakes that sell for 60+ are only 25-30 at the superstore there so it adds up fast. cant blame the tents and crap they gotta make money too but they take way more than a simple 10-20% markup they are more in teh 100-200% range

That sounds about right. I've never done the whole way continuously but that's probably a good four hours on I-70 (assuming you don't get the usual idiot drivers passing through Columbia). Couldnt speak to NW Missouri, though, other than KC the only time I've been in the western part of the state has been SW towards Oklahoma.

Last year there was bridge construction on I-70 just before Columbia. That added an hour. I’m really thinking about flying this year. The drive is worth doing once, but I’ve done it twice now, and I swear once you cross the Ohio River into Illinois from Kentucky, everything looks the same until you get to the hill country in South Dakota.

But as far as NW Missouri goes, there’s really not much between Kansas City and Councill Bluffs, IA. No real traffic to speak of, just some LONG stretches of road work.
