247’s top 20 QB’s for the 2022 season

It's not cool at all...just gross. aTm too. It's in no way impressive - just makes us look like the dumb Southern football fanatic hicks like the Northeastern slobs always say.
You gotta keep up with the times or get left behind. Those players were bought before NIL was a thing

The alumni paid a lot for them - hope you enjoyed.

Hasn't Tommy Brady given fat stacks to his alma mater? I know he thought his NFL prospects were pretty weak - so, he interned at Merrill Lynch two summers.
You Gators … we dropped some bags, just like you and everyone else. But there’s way more to it than that. Dynamic and fun coach, great college town, great education, great development, NFL path, winning champions. You guys should try it more often.

Florida has bought just as many players and every other school.

True. College is college and pro is pro. But there are A LOT of college QBs that would win if surrounded by the talent UGA had/has.
I just don’t get why people can’t give him his due. Dude’s a baller and he showed it. No one but him almost fumbled the ball away then dropped a dime to Mitchel then Bowers. If you followed him all season he made passes other QBs with better passes weren’t making.

There are a ton of QBs surrounded by talent who suck. Works both ways.

You really think you guys weren’t dropping bags? Hell, when you last mattered you were dropping bags to criminals. You are and were just as dirty as others, you just sucked at it after CUM left.

Meh...BS. UGAy and the entire shitty state is turning down. The Southern Charm is gone and the whole state is going ghetto.

You really think he’s good if he’s playing with Texas Tech or Arizona talent level around him? How many QBs played with 15 NFL draftees last year?

Since when did we start judging players based on who they played with? Most of those 15 were on D. Do you think Bryce wins the Heisman if he played on TT or Az? See we don’t do that. I’m not saying Bennett is going to win the Heisman, but to continually leave him of these lists of top CFB QBs is disrespectful. I mean you have guys who have never played a game, or shit the bed with good players around them and they are judged differently.

You are smarter than this. Football is a team sport. Of course it makes a difference who he plays with in how he is judged. A QB has to have someone snap it to him. He has to have someone catch it if he throws it. etc.

Golf is an individual sport. Golfers are judged solely on what they do.

I’m saying who guys play “with” in team sports makes a hell of a lot of difference. Put Mahomes on the Chiefs he wins a Super Bowl. He did well to win 5-6 games playing with Tech talent.

I’m smart enough to understand that football is a team sport. That’s not the point though. As I pointed out, if you put Bryce at Vandy, he doesn’t win the Heisman. Yet no one last year said, “well the only reason Bryce won the Heisman is because of the talent around him.” So, when I say Bennett’s stats and performance last year should mean he’s should be on some of these top QB lists, you can’t say “well the only reason he was 3rd in QBR is because all the talent around him.” No shit … and with all that talent around him the only thing he did was win. Man others who had more talent around them didn’t do as well, and they are on the lists.

The Ohio State quarterbacks, the Oklahoma quarterbacks, and JT Daniels actually had the same talent around him and couldn’t keep the starting job. All of those quarterbacks are found on the list. When I have more time, I’ll think through more examples.

You are saying Ohio State and Oklahoma had more talent than Georgia did last year?

Ohio State was at least on the same level on paper. Most would have probably taken OU’s weapons over UGA’s preseason, but nobody could have predicted what a force Brock Bowers would be

I’ll admit Ohio State’s receiving core was better. OU’s receiving core may have also been better than UGA’s. But it wasn’t near as good as past years. But in overall team talent, no one was close to Georgia. No one.

On offense, yes. I mean our offense we was ranked about 9th-ish, that would mean there were at least 8 teams better than UGAs.

Without looking, name one of our WRs from last year.

I am not really sure why you are pounding this. No one ever looks at the best players, who are often on the better teams, and says "that guy really isn't very good - if you put him at Duke he'd suck. So why the double standard? I'll say it again ... Stetson won't win the Heisman, but that he isn't in the top 25 lists when you have QBs who haven't ever started a game, is absurd.

I’d argue Bama and Ohio State were pretty close if you go by recruiting rankings.

OU may have had some good offensive stats but they weren’t as good as advertised. It was more on reputation. You do know they didn’t make it to the Big 12 CCG last year, don’t you?
