I sometimes have to throw down some calories at the end of the day, otherwise I'll wake up super hungry, and won't have a good workout.
I feel that, but I do my runs in the evening and I always hate when I hit that point when I know I need the food but don't want to eat too much/too close to a run.

What I've learned regarding diet in the "journey" since my heart attack, is that most people don't know shit about diets, and there's sooooo much misinformation.

Bottom line for weight and waist, is calories in and calories out. It's a cumulative thing... eating before bed has no significant impact. It CAN/MAY impact your sleep, because the body is trying to do 2 things, but if you're waking up fresh and rejuvinated.... eat away. If you're sluggish, push up that last meal.

In your situation, have you ever had your basal metabolic rate calculated, though? That might be worth looking into.

In my many years of experience with it, eating a bunch of calories before bed has had an impact, as sleeping doesn't burn many calories.

I have a crazy high metabolism.

in it's simplest form, yes. I'm not talking exercise, and muscle mass vs fat....
Nah, been disproven.

When you start taking in fewer calories, your body goes into conservation mode. It stops burning fat because it thinks you need to hold on to it, since less food is coming in. This is why most diets work up to a certain point, and then you hit a plateau. It's self-preservation

Let's lose some moar playas. JFC

Broncos-Jets. Only because I love football. I think Broncos win this one. Jets are pathetic.

JFC ... ump squeezin Sux pitchers ... give A's pitching all the close calls. Great.
