Two worst fan bases in college football

Obvious Answers
Missouri
Colorado

Question, why are Mizzou fans so annoying? Most of the ones that I have met have been pretty easy-going. Then again, I am not sure Mizzou fans have learned to hate anyone in the SEC yet (except maybe Arkansas).

Georgia fans still want their coach fired even after he won the entire damn thing.

Oh, wait.

That is just one Georgia fan.

So basically what I'm getting here is I missed the peak days of Mizzou fans being total assholes.

Fuck.
It's not just one thing but 99.99% of them were on the level of OD and just delusional about their team. Took me a while to not hold that against YOU when I first came back to message boards (when I joined eurohoop) not your fault and clearly not who you are

Jamie Newman. Somebody gave that kid some terrible advice when they told him to opt out of the 2020 season to focus on the draft. Lord knows we could have used him and he predictably went undrafted and as far as I know isn't on an NFL roster.
you could make a pretty solid argument that he was the worst QB Clawson has had since he's been at Wake

Definitely worse than Wolford and Hartman(or whatever the current peckerwood’s name is)

I hope he no longer associated with whoever told him he had a good enough draft stock to skip out on a season

guarantee you it was some overzealous uncle or cousin

probably the same people that convinced him to transfer from Wake to UGA

I guess.
I never met those guys.

The one's I've seen have a huge anger boner for any team that treats them like a doormat, which includes Oklahoma.

Hope that helps

Ah... yeah they haven't been in the SEC long enough and, to be honest, most people in the SEC treat them like they don't exist. They are kind of like South Carolina, most of the fanbases just don't get that emotional about playing Missouri. It is just one of those games on the schedule.

I assume Missouri vs. Oklahoma or Missouri vs. Nebraska carried more weight with the fanbases.

Their fans don't like it when reality slaps them in the face.

The last 10 games vs Oklahoma and Missouri is 2-8
The last 20 games vs Oklahoma and Missouri is 2-18
Since 1970 Missouri is 4-32.

Oklahoma owns win streaks of;
7 in a row
12 in a row
11 in a row
14 in a row

This is all similar to their history with Nebraska and Texas too.

Missouri is definitely a second tier program. I feel like they are about on par with South Carolina. They are better than Kentucky and Vanderbilt from a program perspective but they are not a top tier SEC program.

They had a nice run in the late Big12 era/early SEC era with Gary Pinkel because having a solid coach matters the most in CFB and they had a great coach. Since he has been gone, they have typically been a 5-7 to 7-5 team every year similar to South Carolina.

What has been disappointing about Missouri in the SEC is their Basketball. I thought Missouri would be a lot better in Basketball, especially since SEC is not very strong in Men's Basketball.

Missouri is as close to being a 'doormat' program as you can get without actually being a 'doormat' program.
Missouri was all super uppity at the same time that Boise fans were screaming the same nonsense. mid to late 00's were the worst (i took a break around 2008 and didnt get back to any forums til 16) i had just assumed all of their fans were still the same way they were back then, just delusional about their status on the totem pole

It makes sense now that I think of it though. Granted I never experienced the fan base at-large outside of the usual student shenanigans until about the past 5 years or so when they've been mediocre, but I do know how front-running this fan base can be which as we all know leads to people being assholes when they're good.

The problem with Mizzou is they were never "great" but the fan base acted like they were world beaters. I mean everyone likes to kick the giant when they slip or fall but my god did mizzou fans act like they were on the same level as Nebraska/Oklahoma/Texas

I loved the heartbreakers.
