Tennessee dominates the SEC in every sport except the one that matters

In due time young one, in due time.

everyone loves us.. except for @WhosYourDawggy who's commodores just lost to my Horns in the semifinals of the mens golf championship today.. but I'm sure he'll root for UT since #SEC #SEC #SEC

Texas should dominate in most sports, they bring in the $$$$ more than any other school. You are in the largest state, land area wise, and the second largest state, population wise. Not to mention, their are far more people in Texas that care about College Sports than than any other state (California has more people but a lot of them could care less about Pac12. In fact, you could probably find someone in California that doesn't even know the Pac12 exists).

in summary, this makes Texas the state school for the most important state for college sports with the most resources. The fact that Texas isn't just dominating college sports is the reason why people tease your program. You have the most resources and yet still struggle in most sports. (I will say Texas is a great overall athletic program but they really haven't dominated any sport except maybe Baseball in the past).

I don't want to be a dick to the Texas fans but Texas and Texas A&M should be doing to College Football what Florida/FSU/Miami did in the 1980s and 1990s and just dominating with multiple National Titles.

All of the resources are there but it just hasn't translated to success.

I think it's culture. Just like Nebraska recruiting better than everyone in the Big 10 West but finishing bottom of the division.

The players have to be lazy and merely putting in the bare minimums.
Too much Xbox, Little Caesars Hot&Ready's, and Suzy Rottoncrotch

well the men's team just won the golf championship..looks like we are on our way to winning the directors cup for the 3rd straight year.

never gonna happen

Tennessee is the Duke of the SEC. Once in a while, you'll win 9 or 10 games, but outside of that, its going to be a bunch of 7-6/6-7 seasons.

Either you are not smart or you are just trolling at this point. Tennessee just needs a good coach.

The other SEC programs had similar terrible runs as well. Alabama had a pretty rough stretch from mid 1990s until Saban and loss to teams like Northern Illinois, UL Monroe (Saban's first year), UCF before they were a power, Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss, etc.

if Derek Dooley coached at Alabama or UGA, he'd have multiple national titles at this point

instead he chose to coach at Tennessee and now he's a national punching bag

Yeah... that pretty much answers my question. You are a troll.

Our Baseball team is really struggling.

I will say this, the post season has been ugly for Tennessee in nearly every sport. The only team that lived up to hype so far in post season was the Women's Basketball team. We have bowed out early in the postseason nearly every other team sport and losing to Purdue in football was just ugly.
