I'm a little concerned about my new tree, but I'll give it extra water tonight, then more tomorrow morning.
Everything else of mine should be ok. Most stuff is in the ground, and what is in pots can easily be moved to live in the shade for a couple of days.
I have extra fuchsia I've been propagating from cuttings I'm going to put in a couple of different places, just to experiment with how much heat/sun they can take.

Given the severe water shortage, I'd be shocked if what you both were doing is still permitted.

Meanwhile up here its still raining and we expect an inch overnight and more through the end of the week and weekend.

Sounds like all we need to do is build some sluices from Washington to California, send all that rain runoff southward

We're being hit by something called an "atmospheric river" where we get a stream of storms following one after the other.

They’re running a commercial that asks us to water our yards for a maximum of 2 days a week. I don’t have a lawn, so I’m already under their idiot limits so I can water with impunity.

Gonna be hot as fuck and my sprinkler controller shit the bed. Supposed to get the replacement tomorrow, but probably won’t get to try to install it until Sunday. Then I’ll probably have to call someone who knows what they’re doing on Monday.

Yeah, I'm way under the district average. Way.

Anyway, most of the Bay Area, at least, is at average or above average in terms of water storage for this time of year.
The Hetch Hetchy is above average.

You shouldn't even be watering your yards. All golf courses need to be closed and stopped from watering their greens.

All public pools and private pools need to be shut down. You should only be allowed to take one shower per week, and only flush the can twice a day. No complimentary glasses of water in restaurants.

I need to be the governor.

Better to water the roots than mist. Too much water on the leaves can cause them to burn.
