Michigan hasn't won a natty in over 60 years, nothing going to change that, they have no business being on the list, thread is as gay as Texas dongers

I'll have to wait and see how all the NIL and Portal and shit works itself out.

It might be that we see a team come out of nowhere every year, a different team every year.
Like LSU a few years back.

If that's the case, then everyone has a shot.
How and why, I can't answer yet.

There's no way to tell where it goes from here.
It is going to be the exact same handful of schools. LSU is one of the select few in a talent rich state where they are the only D1 program. So it isn't a surprise they won a title.

All NIL does is allow a school to buy a player or in A&M's case, an entire class. It isn't a sustainable unless you have alumni willing to do that each and every year

USC imo, easier path and they are a blue blood. FSU is 2 but they still have Clemson to deal with and Miami could make a run at 8-9 wins and be a problem at any time.

Well.......Michigan went to a bowl game in the last year. So I think that qualifies them to be on the list over Nebraska. Remember what a bowl game is?

Nebraska needs to worry about simply beating their big time rivals now. Wisconsin and Iowa. Wisconsin has beaten them 8 times in a row. Iowa has beaten them 7 times in a row. The only way Nebraska football will ever be at another National Championship game in football is if they buy a ticket. Their goal should be simply trying to be competitive in the B1G West for a chance to get smacked around in the B1G CCG, by whichever team makes it there from the East.

I voted USC. They have a talent rich state -- the blue blood status and a school who seems willing to spend to help them get back. It helps to be in the PAC too where they will have little resistance once they are able to bring in some elite recruiting classes.

You're a fag therefore not worth reading, but you do rate ridicule and insult for being such a fag

I simply stated facts. Correct me if i'm wrong

Actually not me. I haven't voted yet but I am leaning towards USC or Texas. You laugh about Texas but I think joining SEC is going to help them.

I don't think anyone in the SEC (or the rest of college football for that matter) can match what Texas can do as far as NIL except maybe A&M and Texas will be motivated to make a splash in the new conference. If their boosters respond as most think they will, it may give them an advantage that even Sark can't fuck up.

I'd have to go with my Trojans or one of the Florida schools. I would include Texas, because they are on a very short list of schools that could offer more in terms of NIL money than USC and are in a talent rich state. But I don't trust Sark.

I could see USC for the reasons that others have already listed. Talent rich state and when USC is rolling, a large majority of that talent wants to go there (at least a couple of the kids Riley picked up in the portal were kids that likely would have gone to USC but Helton was the coach), they can put together a lot of NIL money (pretty diverse in the opportunities as well) and when USC is rolling it becomes difficult for the other PAC schools to keep up. It's fairly likely that only Oregon will be able to consistently keep up in recruiting.

I could see a Florida school because they are in a very talent rich area and all 3 have shown what they can do when they can keep that talent at home.

I got your nil right here

Nebraska needs to recruit criminals again.

They ain't won shit when they haven't had a running back with an ankle monitor.
I’d say they should drop down to FCS if they wanna compete for natties again, but we all know they ain’t getting past North Dakota State there either

I was hesitant to put Michigan on here because they won B1G but I am keeping them on for time being since they have taken a lot of heat for their struggles the last 15 years or so.
We finished top 4 in the country, wtf man?

Also, the answer (Michigan removed from the list because we shouldn't be on it) is USC. They have the dramatically easier path than everyone else. A weak Pac12, elite recruiting, tons of money...pretty easy to see them succeeding quick.

From Most Likely to Least Likely:

1) Texas
2) USC
3) Florida
4) Michigan
5) Florida State
6) Miami
7) Tennessee
8) Nebraska

I see Oregon fans still mad they aren't even has been.

Michigan fans upset because they backed their way into receiving an ass whooping exposing that they are no closer to a natty than they have been in over 60 years
